You'll be the face of our company and responsible for our customers' experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Bartenders - or Mixologists, mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales. Prep Cook - or Preparatory Cook, is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients. Their duties include organizing and labeling food items in storage closets, performing tasks like chopping ingredients and sanitizing their work station during and after service. Dishwasher - or Kitchen Helper, is responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry. Guest Registration - Greet visitors, answer or redirect general inquiries in-person. Identify and sign-in guests using an application template. Provide information regarding routine inquiries, applicable policies and procedures. Update and maintain files, correspondence and records. Responsibilities: Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area. Relay food and beverage orders. Fill waters, run bar drinks, bus tables Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices. Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person. Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns. Present in professional appearance and mannerisms. Qualifications: Proven event, catering and/or restaurant serving experience. Must have or obtain a CA food handlers card. Hands-on experience in cashier duties. Attention to cleanliness and safety. Patience and customer-oriented approach. Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude. Responsible and trustworthy. High school diploma is a plus but not required. We work all over the Bay Area and then some so having reliable transportation is a must.
