Send resume to [email protected] or online at dmkassoc.com Survey Party Chief position available with a Professional Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and ready to hit the ground running. Candidate must have working knowledge utilizing GPS base rover, total station, TDS and Carlson software data collection software and equipment experience. A $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS WILL BE PAID UPON 180 DAYS OF CONSECUTIVE EMPLOYMENT. Responsibilities: • Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, control using total stations, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography and existing conditions surveys, utility and as-built recovery and construction stakeout • Assist survey technicians with production of mapping products and computations • Other duties as assigned related to field data. Required Skills & Experience: • A minimum of 5 years working experience • Ability to operate Total Stations and fluent in GPS, static, RTK and RTN collection protocols • Familiarity with Carlson SurvCE and TDS software a plus • Sufficient knowledge to manage most survey-related task in the field to include the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layout • Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats • Experience in recovery of boundary evidence in field • Ability to collect as-built and topography data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop mapping products • Ability to work remotely for prolonged periods required and under rigorous conditions • Utility locating experience a plus • Excellent communication skills • Must be dependable Additional Requirements: • Must understand the importance of the deliverable and have a track record of ownership regarding all projects and assignments and be a team player. • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.
