Houseman: At Sugar Beach Events we are a venue space that hosts weddings and celebration gatherings. We are looking for a houseman to assist with the setup of events on our beachfront property. The Primary Responsibilities include the set-up of rentals: tables, chairs, lawn games, dancefloor, etc. Equipment must be kept in good condition and ensure that all storage areas and banquet rooms are clean and orderly. Consistently perform tasks as specified by the onsite manager. Must be able to move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to push/pull and maneuver rentals/appliances, as needed. Essential Duties: 1. Review all banquet details and follow set-up specifications 2. Transport equipment to/from designated areas (storage unit onsite) 3. Set-up rentals for events 4. Keep work and storage area clean and orderly 5. Properly store equipment 6. Perform other related duties as assigned
