Reminder about Kittens

Hey— Just a friendly reminder to keep kittens with their family until they are at LEAST 10 weeks. Some say 8, I think longer the better. This is a CRUCIAL time for them to gain confidence on their own and learn how to successfully socialize with the world around them!! Please, be patient and let them blossom into the amazing cats that they will become. If they are taken away from their mother too soon, this could cause problematic behavior down the road, and even harm them. Imagine the stress being taken away from the mama too soon. They need this time to develop. I myself have a cat that was weaned too early, so that’s why I say this from experience and research on cats. I am looking to adopt, and I’ve just been noticing a lot of posts with very young kittens. This makes me sad, so I wanted to post this and remind everyone about this very important thing. That’s it. This post was flagged and removed earlier, it wasn’t even up for an hour probably. So, please don’t flag it? This isn’t about shaming anyone or doesn’t have to be taken negatively at all, it’s just the facts and I want to help the kittens out there, that’s it. Is this such a terrible offensive post that someone needed to flag it? Are you serious? If this simply doesn’t resonate with you, then maybe click the back button and carry on with your day. Do not remove this, if this helps just one kitten stay with their family that much longer, or educate someone who’s adopting, then that’s all I was aiming to do.. Hopefully more though.
