This Friday, October 14th, prepare for a lantern-lit tour of Plattsburgh's most mysterious Victorian graveyard; the "Old Roman Catholic Burial Ground." Explore the secrets of the earliest cemetery of its kind in Clinton County and hear haunting tales of the dearly departed who reside here. We'll also pay a visit to the ghostly ruins of Fort Brown, a rampart that witnessed some of the bloodiest fighting during the decisive 1814 Battle of Plattsburgh.
*In celebration of October and the arrival of the Halloween season, the great folks over at SeaComm Federal Credit Union have sponsored a series of free public tours! Space is limited and reservations are required. Please present your ticket at the event (hard copy or digital).
*Each tour lasts roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. It is a WALKING tour so good footwear is recommended. Guests are also encouraged to bring lanterns, flashlights, and digital cameras, you never know what you're going to capture!!!
