Persian cat for rehoming

I am assisting an elderly friend to rehome thier purebred Persian cat. He is neutered, about 8 yr old, classic flat face, long haired gray Persian and his primary human passed away last year. He is Shy and prefers a calm house but personable enough with known humans. Currently Lives peaceably with 1 dog. Never been around kids. No health issues. Goes to groomer for claws and grooming as needed. Up to date on shots. We are looking for a calm adult home for him to go to. Local on cape cod to Plymouth area. There will be a small adoption fee and possibly a home visit to make sure he is going to a suitable home.
