Description
This is Joy. She is about 18 years old, 15 3 h. She is a grade horse. I have had her for just over a year and in that time she’s been sweet natured, a good worker, a really nice horse who has been great with kids.
She was recently diagnosed with a mild case of kissing spine, which is able to be managed by annual shots.
Joy would love a situation where she could be a support for those in need, either as a companion horse or with an equine therapy center.
Joy loves people, especially kids. She is very empathic and intuitive. She comes right to me when I arrive, puts her head in her halter. Front shoes. Great with farrier, fully vetted, current dental and shots. Did I say gentle?
As a larger lady, I don’t feel I should be riding her. She’s given me a wonderful year, but it’s time for someone to consider her needs.
