Looking for a working band. I live in Brentwood and I'm a bass player first and foremost but I play guitar and sing as well. The last band I was in was a band called Renegade a Styx tribute in Sacramento which is just too far so I'm hoping to play locally, big harmony is a big deal to me. Mostly I want to have fun with vocals as a major focus. If I had to pick a ideal style to play it would be power pop. Like Raspberries, Beatles of course, Rubinoos, 415, Jelly Fish, the Wonders, Todd Rudgren, Elvis Costello. Bad Finger, Bowie I have many other styles I'm interested in playing. Queen, Kansas, Boston, Sly and the Family stone, Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago, ELO, Doobie Bros. I'm still just considering putting together just a duo with me on the acoustic guitar and bass and looking for a tenor who plays acoustic guitar and or keyboards.
