Tickets: The China Cats are the premier Grateful Dead tribute band in Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Bay Area. This will be a stellar night of dancing in a vintage ballroom under soaring open beam ceilings with an expansive wooden dance floor. Costume contest at set break! Plenty of seating, and views of the dancers from the balcony. The grand entry hall will be lined with vendors in a Shakedown Marketplace. There’s a gracious open-air patio complete with a babbling fountain where you can take in the cool evening air. Handcrafted foodstuffs will be available for that bit of nosh where needed.
