Human Trafficking (HT) 101 is an introductory class on understanding the issue of human trafficking. You will be trained on sex trafficking and labor trafficking definitions, red flags, and resources to know how to identify and refer if HT is suspected. This presentation will teach participants a better understanding of how this happens and how to respond. We will review some of the complexities and misconceptions which often hinder more than help, and ways in which having a trauma informed approach can help support your efforts when working with vulnerable populations. There will be time for Q&A with team members from the Tulare County Human Trafficking Force presenting these materials.
