So now for something completely different. I am throwing a shot in the dark. I am imagining Someone that works with say An Akai or NI Maschine drum work station or Abelton live or all that shit combined, I don't care. Some of the key differences for me tho would be using natural drum samples as a foundation. Add all kinds of electronica ambiance, that's a given and bring in 'eletronica' drum elements as things are created and fit the vibe. So the style of music my partner and I are doing is heavily influenced from our time, our vibe. It's the grunge era sound. It's big guitar, big vocals and big bass. I am also deeply influenced by all kinds of vibes from world to rap to white people progressive music lol. Just is. I am intrigued by the idea of instead of a drummer, having a multi dimensional electronica DJ that mixes all kinds of tonalities. Honestly I could do it as well but I really want to focus on my guitar, pedals and my singing. Let me be clear I am absolutely a technologist. I do deeply understand this technology. I can help produce how this should sound, I just need the right partner in this journey so I can solidify my part that I am currently focused on, guitar, effects and vocals. So here's to randomness. Lol. Imagine... live jamming, changing beats, sounds on the fly, improvising to the songs we are doing and we too change with your stuff. All of it in a tonal framework that works together for each song. A synergy between the dark emotionalism of grunge with the modern vibe of electronica.
