I've been in the moving business for years and I am finally starting a moving company. The thing I want to do differently than other moving companies out there, is to put our employees first. I've worked for plenty of companies that had toxic managers and owners. I've worked for plenty of companies that paid the lowest wages they could get away with. I haven't heard of any local moving companies offering a benefits package to include health insurance and retirement options. I think if we focus on making sure our employees are happy and well taken care of, the service that we provide to customers will be head and shoulders above the competition. As a new company, we will be providing moving labor only. -Moving labor means that we aren't responsible for transporting items on a truck, we just help load and/or unload their truck or storage unit. -Flexible schedule. I'm looking for someone to work 1-2 days a week to start off. Hours will increase as we book more jobs -pay will be $20/hour and up with a $50 minimum - I can pay cash or check daily or weekly, or direct deposit every two weeks- whatever you prefer - I have a benefits package that I can offer you after 3 months of employment for health insurance and retirement savings Send me an email with a summary of your experience in the moving business and something that you think moving employers could do better.
