Join us for a spooky night of scares in one of the most haunted venues in Montana: the old Gallatin County Jail in downtown Bozeman! As you walk through the jail, you will learn the terrifying story of the mysterious "seventh prisoner" who fellow inmates were so afraid of, they left him behind when they escaped. Will you survive the journey to escape the jail? The haunted jail will run on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Halloween) nights with a lights on portion from 5:00pm-6:30pm each night and lights off from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Even with the lights on, the space will still be pretty scary. During the lights on portion on Halloween, children and families are invited to come in costume as the actors hand out candy inside the jail. Food trucks will be present. All proceeds go towards supporting the Planet School and the Gallatin History Museum. This event has been planned and run by high school students from four local schools.
