Our first topic is “Building Prophetic Community” and will be led by Sidi Mahdy Amine. The goal of this topic is to connect practices from the Prophet (pbuh) and relate it to how we build communities today. Our kickoff session for this 3 week series will be October 18th!
Maghrib prayer will be at 6:30 pm and dinner will be served immediately after. The halaqa will start at 7pm.

Ustadh Mahdy Amine will be covering the topic “Building Prophetic Community” over the course of 3 sessions and will be teaching through readings and reflections from Book #20 of Imam Al-Ghazali’s Ihya ulum al-din (Revival of the Religious Sciences). He will use this text as a roadmap to deepen our understanding on how the actions of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) relates to how we can build community today.
Note: Reading is NOT REQUIRED to attend. The book will just be a reference to learn from and have discussions around. The sessions are designed for everyone to be able to attend with no prior context.
