We are looking for a full-time/Part time Park associate who is responsible, professional, hardworking, and have a positive attitude and desire to be part of a growing team. Responsibilities will include: Providing Exceptional care for our canine guests; feeding, cleaning & playing. Must be able to work quickly, efficiently and with a great attitude. Professional customer service skills are required, as well as being very comfortable working with large groups of dogs. Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and be on time for your shift. Expected to help others tasks when needed and support team members The kennel tech and park attendant position is set in our daycare area and hotel; where you will be responsible for: Walking, feeding and regulating dog playtime cleaning and sanitizing play areas, beds, mats, fencing, rooms, etc. Bathing dogs Interacting with pet owners as well as all other duties assigned. Must be able to lift over 50lbs, stand for long periods of time and work with big dogs. Working at D.O.G. is not a job, it’s a community of those who work together for the love of pets. As a Dog Hotel and Park Associate, you’ll ensure that pets feel extra loved while they are playing with us and staying with us! You’ll build a connection with pet parents to discuss their pet’s unique personalities and provide a safe fun environment during their visit. ABOUT OUR TEAM: In a store as big as ours, we need all hands (and paws!) on deck to ensure we are operating efficiently. So, as a D.O.G. associate, you may be cross-trained in the following areas: Customer Engagement: You are the smiling face that greets pets and creates that first impression in our D.O.G Hotels. You’ll advise the pet parents on the different services and solutions we offer to create a customized experience for their pet. Pet Care: All work and no play? Not here! You will interact directly with the pets--playing with them during Doggie Day Care, ensuring they get exercise, and ensuring their tummies are full! Safety and cleanliness are top priority to us, so we keep that top of mind throughout the day of play! Our location looking for employees is nested in Wilton manors. Our D.O.G facility makes it easy for you to go on vacation and leave your pooch in good hands. Responsibilities Handle general care tasks such as feeding, walking and cleaning up after the animals Assist in restraining animals for the grooming team Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates Maintain a clean and healthy environment Oversee all kennel operations Oversee all dogs in parks Maintain parks clean and sanitized at all times Qualifications Previous experience in animal care or other related fields Passion to help and care for animals Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Benefits Pet care free for your own pets Pet food discounts for your own pets You get to work with animals!
