This gorgeous 4 year old fluff ball is waiting to be someone's perfect pet! Juno came to us as a stray dog that showed up at our doorstep a few years ago. We have done our best to keep her since her original owners never came forward. She is fabulous and we all love her, but she isn't working out as a farm dog. If you like huskies, she's about as good as they get. The downside is that huskies don't make good farm dogs as they have a high prey drive towards birds. Pros: -Fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, JUST had all her blood work done and her teeth cleaned professionally this week -In great health -LOVES all humans, especially children -House trained -Walks nicely on a leash -She is calm and is perfectly happy laying at your feet all day -She also makes a great walking companion on days you want to take her, we do 3 miles several times a week -Knows many commands -Does not jump up on people -Does not get on furniture -Does not get into food on counter / trash cans -Not destructive to anything in the home -Good for baths and brushing -Takes treats gently -Not noisy, rarely barks, no howling -Gets along with our other dogs -Sweet to puppies Cons -As a husky, she has a strong prey drive and she kills our chickens, geese, and rodents. She would not be an appropriate dog for a family with small animals in their home/yard. She has coexisted with our cat who does not run from her but I would not trust her with other cats because if they ran away, she would likely view them as prey. -She is super, super smart and if you leave a door cracked, or a gate unlocked, she will escape. She needs a secure yard. -She is possessive of her food bowl towards the other dogs, so we feed her separately and it isn't a problem. She respects their space and doesn't try to steal their food. Truly, if you have no small prey animals in your home and are looking for an amazing beautiful friend, this is your girl. We would be keeping her if we didn't live on a property with hundreds of birds, which she keeps trying to escape to kill. I fully trust her with my kids, she is very calm and gentle with them.
