Saturday 19th Liftoff: Youth RallyLocation: Honesdale YMCA (105 Park St, Honesdale, PA 18431) Mission Log: All teens (7th - 12th grade) are welcome to join us for our Liftoff: Youth Rally at 4 PM Saturday November 19th at the YMCA. Space Programs will face-off in a number of out-of-this-world challenges and games as they race against the clock to construct a functional rocket before the timer hits 0:00:00, aka “Liftoff!”. There is no cost for the Youth Rally. A pizza dinner will be provided for teens participating in the Youth Rally. Youth Rally: Liftoff- the Great Space Race - Saturday, November 19th @ YMCA Four competing Space Programs will compete in a number of “space” themed challenges to win Construction Components. These Construction Components will be collected and saved for the final event: “Liftoff.” During “Liftoff,” teams will race against the clock to construct a functional rocket before the timer hits 0:00:00, aka “Liftoff.” To conclude the event, each team will have one chance to launch their rocket, and the team that lands closest (or hopefully on!) the Moon will be our Space Race Champions. 4:00-4:15PM- Welcome and Get-to-Know Time 4:15-4:30PM- Space Race Kickoff 4:30-5:00PM- Game #1 (Orbit-Ball: Indoor Version of Plunger-Ball) 5:00-5:30PM- Game #2 (Foreign Flags: Four-Way Capture the Flag Variation) 5:30-6:30PM- Pizza Dinner 6:30-7:20PM- Youth Rally & Message 7:30-8:00PM- Game #3 (Liftoff Part 1- Construction Countdown: Race the T-Minus Timer to build your rocket while completing tasks for added benefits) 8:15-8:30PM- Game #4 (Liftoff Part 2- Rocket Launch: The teams constructed rockets will be launched toward the target: the Moon. The team that lands closest to the center wins the event.) 8:30PM- Dismissal
