ProLift Garage Doors seeks an experienced Garage Door Installer to perform installations, service, and repairs for the greater Alpharetta, GA area. This is a new rapidly growing business to the area, and the right person will have many opportunities for advancement. We are looking for a self starter to help grow the business and participate in the revenue generated for our company. If you have prior experience working as an residential installer and are comfortable in selling yourself and our services, please apply. Management training and future roles are available to the right candidate. Responsibilities: Install various types of residential garage doors – including retrofit and new construction. Products, buildings and applications differ case by case; the candidate must be able to complete installation professionally as it pertains to safety, functionality and performance working within the guidelines of the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Skills Required: Previous experience servicing/ installing garage doors - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used in the residential garage door service Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public Leadership Potential Team player Self-Starter Able to work independently and efficiently. Basic math and legible handwriting. Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable. EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent with 1 plus years' experience that would provide skills and abilities that is necessary to complete the job .Physical DemandsRequires frequently: Standing, lifting of 50 lbs., Carrying 50 lbs., walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level; full use of hands, good finger dexterity, lifting from floor to waist and twisting of torso. Also includes working in cramped garages, on ladders, and with power tools and perform manual labor in outside environment, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain and other adverse weather conditions .ExperienceDoor Installation – Minimum 6 months experience (Required) Job Type:Full-Time Salary:50k-90k Based on Experience. Potential to earn 6 figures or more with commission.
