Qualifications or Skills Required: Repairs or replaces defective tire tubes. Meet road service goals. Replaces or repairs tires within quality and guidelines. Must have sound knowledge of repair and maintenance of tires. Must have good analysis skills in order to find potential problems with tires. Excellent troubleshooting skills and decision making abilities. Must have a sound knowledge of tools and machines used for changing tires in heavy vehicles and the safety precautions. Must have good organization and communication skills. Must be able to work with heavy machines and lift loads. Must be able to read, understand and follow directives. Must be able to pay attention to detail and working in a fast-paced environment and think critically, diagnose problems and carry out repairs. Should be socially perceptive and have good time management skills. Purchasing experience is a plus. Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected. Must possess mechanical aptitude.
