Who we are: We are a female(vocal), and male(guitar) duo looking to get back out in the Austin music scene and play some shows. As the posting title implies, we like a lot of different genres of music, which will reflect in the covers we play as well as our original music. I will list some influences later. Our goals: We would like to find bandmates and form a band. In the meantime, we would still want to find gigs as a two, three, four piece, etc. Ideally, a full band would be a singer or singers(not opposed to it if you have great pipes, à la Fleetwood Mac), two guitars(acoustic/electric), keyboards(piano, organ, synths, etc.), bass, and drums(acoustic/electric). Also, backing tracks would at some point come into play. Ideal qualities: 1. Be a decent human being. 2. Friendly. 3. Reliable. 4. Be decent at your instrument (don’t need to be a Berklee or Juliard graduate, but have enough chops to get the job done well). 5. Be willing to take direction. 6. 420 and alcohol friendly, just not before or during rehearsals and gigs.
