Have you worked on your own home improvements or remodeling projects? Maybe you've been a remodeling contractor or replacement window installer. Or, maybe you've been in a maintenance technician role at an apartment complex or other facility where you had to make repairs and replace a variety of parts to get things running again. If you've built, remodeled or fixed homes, been a home remodeler or remodeling contractor, installed replacement windows, worked on roofing, siding, gutters, or any other interior or exterior home improvement, we want to speak with you. Position Overview This is a full-time role with a professional remodeling company that's been successful since 1989. The position includes a car for company use, all tools needed to perform warranty service repairs, and full benefits! The Home Remodeling Service / Maintenance Technician works in the field performing warranty repair services in our customers' homes and occasionally obtaining measurements for new window, bath, and kitchen installations. Required Skills -General knowledge of residential construction and basic home improvement and maintenance. -Ability to accurately take windows, bath and kitchen measurements -Strong verbal communications skills (English literacy) -Well-organized and on time for each appointment -Self-starter, efficient, productive, able to work independently Qualifications: * 3+ years of home remodeling, home improvement, contracting, or residential home repairs/home maintenance experience * Experience in lite plumbing, electrical and items associated within a bathroom considered a plus! * 2+ years of experience in exterior residential home improvement experience considered a plus! * Valid Driver's License WORKING WITH IMPROVEIT IS REWARDING: COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION - We take care of our people like we take care of our customers.
