We have multiple immediate openings for Cooler Stockers at our Minneapolis Milk Plant. We have multiple shift options and the pay range is in the $18-20/hr. range. The positions have the potential for temp to hire.
This position is responsible for stocking the crated products in the cooler. 3-4 individuals work in this area at the same time however they are responsible for different sections. The products come on a track in stacks of 5-6 crates. The employees move the stacks off the tracks by using a 39” hook and supporting the top of the stack with the other hand. The stacks are slid on the floor into their specific areas. Stacks may be moved more than once to make room for further volume. One section of the track is elevated, built-in ramps are used to transfer stacks to / from track. The line draggers will also work as the bossy operator. All employees will occasionally use a hose to spray down the floor, crates or machine.
Position Reports to: Cooler Supervisor
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday: 5 am - pm or Sunday - Thursday 5 pm - 5 am.
Number and Length of Breaks: 2 x 15 minutes; 30 minute lunch
Work Week Sequence: 4 days per week
Work Environment: Line Draggers work in the cooler which is between 35-37 degrees Fahrenheit.
