Progressive Death/Djent Project -Auditioning Drummers

Meets

Denver CO

Description

Just a heads up: Current members are located in COS but we are willing to travel to Denver. Please reply with recent (within past 2 years) demos/examples of your playing in your first email to receive a response. Currently looking for a drummer to get the project moving further along. Looking for a reliable and committed member that can commit to at least 1 day a week of practice on average (we all have jobs, lives, etc.) so we understand things come up, doesn't have an ego or substance issues, and wants to see the project through. The project leans heavily towards fast BPM and rhythms (typically from 140-200+) with a general song length of 3-5minutes. Looking for somebody that is reliable, and has time to dedicate to getting this project off the ground which obviously does require some patience. I have gear, and a place to practice in North Colorado Springs which includes an e-kit (mesh head) wired to GGD so you wouldn't need to lug your live kit back and forth if you're the right fit. If you prefer to use your own kit we can also come to you or plan to meet at a Denver rehearsal space. The current setup is myself (guitar), second guitar, and a vocalist. Looking to add a drummer and bassist at this time. Please check out this example of the programmed drums for one of the tracks to make sure you are comfortable with the speed/technicality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btX0DA7smlc Here is a link to the general demos with more instrumentation: https://www.Soundcloud.com/awaitingoblivion The above are concept demos. The final songs will also have moderate to heavy synth use using various tones from cinematic to darkwave Thanks for your interest.
