*** $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS!!! *** Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a well-qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team at Crystal Bay and French Creek Townhomes in Rochester, MN. We are offering a $1,000 Sign-on Bonus to join our amazing Rochester team! This is a hands on maintenance position and is responsible for make readies, work orders, general maintenance and repair. The position is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet Monarchs established standards. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: -Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority -Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants -Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications -Exterior structural maintenance as needed -Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every other week. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: -2+ years’ experience in maintenance -1+ years in multi-family housing preferred -Dry walling including painting and carpentry -Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe -Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures -HVAC certification preferred but not required -EPA certification strongly preferred but not required -A valid Driver's License is REQUIRED Great Compensation and Benefits: -Compensation is $20 - $23/hour -$1,000 Sign-on Bonus! -The opportunity for an annual raise -Monthly and quarterly bonuses -Weekly pay for on-call whether you are called out or not -401k planning and pre-tax contributions with up to a 3% match -Tool reimbursement program -Power tool battery exchange program -Winter boot reimbursement program -20% off rent at any of our owned communities -Paid Holidays -Paid Time Off, 1st Year = 80 Hours, 2-4 Years = 120 Hours, 5+ Years = 160 Hours -Amazing medical starting at $30.00/m for a great, comprehensive plan -Dental and Vision Insurance -Life and Disability Insurance -Paid additional training/school -Tuition reimbursement program -Discount programs at partnered companies such as Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more You will be asked to complete a written skills test to assess your skill level as part of the interview process.
