Looking for other musicians

I'm not sure if anyone ever even checks this page anymore for Ames... I'm looking for some other musicians who would want to write and record some music, and maybe play some shows eventually. I'm a dad in m 40's and have a family and have no desire to rehearse and gig all the time, but I would like to exercise some creative muscles again. I have a rehearsal space in my house and plenty of equipment...drums, basses, guitars, amps, monitors and mics. My influences are all over the map, but primarily 90's rock, roots rock, "americana"...although that word seems to have taken on a new meaning recently, and just about everything else. Some of my favorite bands of the last two decades or so (minus most of the 90's rock bands I love) are Drive By Truckers, Sturgil Simpson, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Primus, Manchester Orchestra, Molly Tuttle, Larkin Poe, The Toadies, Nickel Creek, Hum and about a zillion others... I have no idea what "Genre" any of this would fall under, but I think it will have strong ties in rock/southern rock with some edge...but with plenty of other things sprinkled in there. Right now its just me. I play guitar and sing...keys, synth, guitars, lap steel, acoustic guitar, drums, bass all welcome.
