Rosemary and Athena in Search of Homes

At the end of July, I was involved in a huge cat and kitten rescue on a large property in Oregon City that was going into bank foreclosure. Rosemary and Athena were the first two moms that came home with me each nursing their 5- and 6-week-old babies. All of their kittens have been spayed and neutered and have found homes. Now it is time for these beautiful mamas to find furever homes of their own. Both do well with other animals. They are a little more willing to spend time with my small dog versus my big dogs. They hang out with our bunnies and guinea pigs. Both are faithful to using the liter box and really just want their own sunning window to sit in and their own lap to cuddle in. Both adore my youngest daughter and love watching the smaller kittens play, as I came home with another two mamas that delivered in August. They have been flea treated monthly, and have been fully vaccinated and spayed as of September 30th. Rosemary is black with a white star on her chest. She was estimated at 4 years old by the vet that performed her spay and weighs 7.6 pounds. She is a talker. She likes to call you to find you in the house and will follow you everywhere. She is so soft and loving. Athena is a green-eyed tabby. She was estimated to be one years old and weighs 10.4 pounds. Athena is my goddess. Such a young mom but was a champ nursing 7 kittens until they were ready to be adopted. She instantly trusted me and has been a loving companion. Athena took awhile to recover from her spay surgery and just started making her presence known again for love and affection. Adoption fee will be $85 per cat. We will send some of the food they are currently eating so that you can switch over to a new brand if you would like with minimal stomach upset.
