Job Description: Sweeping Parking Lots/Streets with Street Sweeper Trucks and using backpack blower to blow trash from sidewalks, all corners and behind all car stops, out into an open parking area so that the trucks can pick up the trash. Might be necessary to handpick or use a shovel or a broom and change out trash can liners. There will be times for changing out flat tires with a spare, replacing fuses that are not functional as well as Remounting the broom assembly. Requirements: High school diploma Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for 3 years Must be able to pass drug test & maintain a negative drug screen with a clean criminal record Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and sit and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to operate an Echo backpack blower Employees will be working outdoors and in all weather conditions and may be exposed to dust, dirt & loud noises **Shifts include working weekends and need to have flexible availability to include overtime ** All safety equipment will be provided and Training is offered to all employees to maintain our high quality and safety standards. 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment, 2 weeks after the 2nd year. 6 paid holidays Call between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm, Monday - Friday for appointment.
