*Serious inquiries only* Hello, my name is Andrew. I work in education professionally, and would like to have a band to perform often with on the side. I primarily play folk/folk rock, classic country, Americana, blues, 60s music, indie music and am looking for others to put together a band with a sound along those lines. I sing and play rhythm guitar and piano/keyboard. I am looking to work with another vocalist, a lead guitarist, a bass player, a drummer, a violin/fiddle player, an accordion player, and a banjo player. However, I am certainly open to other instruments. I would like to start with a drummer and/or someone who can play lead with whatever reasonable instrument. Here are some highlights from my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/G1uGTHOkHIk https://youtu.be/q5Y9tWkpMqY https://youtu.be/vsxB_qyKMho https://youtu.be/zOxEdpTRuDQ See below for songs that align with the general sound that I am wanting to create (as a starting foundation): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o69smiFUN4&ab_channel=ThrillJockeyRecords https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlgAcbBUp4M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eA98xJByTzo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUxB014-0Qk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JO0LHlLC7Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIlqBDhHtEI&ab_channel=TheYoungbloods-Topic I can share a Spotify playlist I have created that includes songs I play/want to play. I am interested in creating original music, and use covers as a means to develop the band's voice. I have one original song and a handful of music without lyrics (chords and melodies). Ideally, we rehearse 1-2 times every two weeks or often enough to build chemistry and musical cohesion to perform at events and various places. If you are interested, include recordings of your playing as well as your background information (e.g., what you do for a living, your music background, and general music interests, and anything else you think would be relevant to share). Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
