5 year old Black Lab needs new home

Our lab, Shadow, needs a new home, as he's developed a vendetta against one of our other dogs, Thor, and has attacked him on several occasions. We don't really understand why this happened, and it's very uncharacteristic of him; he's always been a sweet dog and even now he shows no signs of aggression towards any people or any of our other dogs. We've tried as carefully as possible to reconcile them to no avail, and at this point we're at the end of our rope. We've had Shadow since he was a puppy, and it breaks our hearts to have to part with him, but it's clear that he needs a new home for the sake of Thor's safety and our sanity. A home without another dog would likely be best. He's gentle with other animals, like cats, and children. He's very affectionate and very smart, he'll "talk" to you when he wants something and paw his food bowl around when it's empty. He's potty-trained, and knows how to sit, lay down, and shake hands. We're asking a small rehoming fee and would prefer if you would come by for an interview, just to ensure he goes to a safe home.
