Staunch Trump supporter Ted Cruz privately told others "All 100 Senators know Trump committed at least one impeachable offense." Justin Amash, Paul Mitchell, Paul Ryan, Liz Cheney... are canaries in a cave. You can deny, and call them all manner of names, but they tell loudly, resoundly, "the emperor has no cloths!" In 2016, good, honest, hardworking American citizens, who were fed up with the gridlock in government, had it right. We need change. But Donald John Trump was NOT your messiah. At some point, rational minds need to cut bait. If in 2024, our choices are Trump and Biden, God have mercy on us all. One very old man's opinions only.
