eda consultants inc. is in search of a Subsurface Utility Locator for its office in Gainesville, FL. The ideal candidate would have 3 years experience of daily underground utility location. This is a part-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience. Full-time may be an option if the candidate is willing to supplement time contributing to traditional land surveying efforts. This position requires the ability to trace electric lines, telephone lines, cable television lines, water lines, sanitary sewer force mains, gas lines, and fiber-optic communication lines. This position also requires experience with both electronic location equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).
