One of the most important questions you can ask about any wine is this: what place is it from? The answer tells us about the actual content of the wine. Grapes are the medium, and winemakers are the artists, but the place exists before the wine.
Please join Terry Moore for a class that will examine terroir in all aspects (soil content, elevation, exposition, weather patterns, native yeast, and more!), starting in the global sense (comparing a wine from Burgundy with one from California) all the way down to the hyper-local level (with two strikingly different wines that might surprise you).
