Is anyone in this godforsaken city interested in making the kind of racket you'd hear in Chicago or San Diego or Olympia in the 90s? Gotta be honest: I have no interest in the emo/pop-punk revival. My sound is based on stuff like Mudhoney, Cat Power, Velocity Girl, Unwound, Sebadoh, Liz Phair, Jesus Lizard, Beat Happening, Helium, Throwing Muses, GbV, you get the idea. I'm not technically gifted or a recording whiz. But I listen to a lot of cool music and try and write cool songs. I'm mainly a rhythm guitarist and singer, looking primarily for a drummer and then maybe other people. But wow would it be nice to find at least one normal person to jam with and play shows and record.
