Where should we get our answers to the tough questions of our time? The problem is, if we aren’t intentional about forming our opinions and values, they’ll be formed for us. Whoever is the loudest around us, coupled with our own, unpredictable feelings, will rule us. But there’s a still, small voice we can choose, too. A voice that gently suggests instead of demanding, that never shames or pushes or attacks. It’s hard to find amidst all the noise, but once we do, it protects us, guides us, and loves us. That’s the voice of our God.
