On Saturday December 17th, join us for the Holiday Dinner Train. Ride in style on board one of our Illinois Central dining cars or our historic private car. Passengers on board this holiday themed event will be treated to a delicious three course meal prepared by Holly's Country Kitchen of Monticello. This approximately two-hour train ride departs at 5:00 PM from the Wabash Depot in downtown Monticello. Ride in style as you enjoy one of the following entree options: Honey Ham, Boneless Turkey Breast, Pasta Primavera (Vegetarian). Each entrée will be accompanied by Zuppa Toscano Soup, Sweet Potato Casserole, Confetti Corn, and Dessert! Beverages available onboard will include various sodas, tea (sweet or unsweet), honey tea, lemonade, and water. All passengers are welcome to dress up for this classy event! This car features an 8-seat dining table and a 12-seat lounge with a fantastic view out the end of the train. Experience dining on the rails as railroad executives would have back in its heyday.
