Shop Manager Position Summary We are currently looking for a Shop Manager with 3+ years of management experience. Reporting to the Director of Operations and will work with the Service manager to coordinate shop workflow. Specific Responsibilities will include: • Coordinate racks and assign jobs for all technicians. • Manage technician schedules • Record and report shop production and efficiency. • Conduct test drives as necessary. • Assure all services and repairs completed are safe and problem free. • Diagnose electrical and drivability complaints. • Communicate findings and work status to the Service Manager/Advisor promptly. • Coordinate parts orders with the Service Manager/Advisor • Communicate and resolve problematic jobs Develop and implement standard operating procedures. Ensure shop and common areas are cleaned, maintained, and safe Professional Qualifications • 3+ years of managerial experience. • Extensive knowledge of computer controls, electrical and hydraulic problems diagnosis, and other specialized skills needed to work on these systems. • Proficient with Microsoft products. Word, teams, excel, and outlook. • Experienced with Tekmetric and Quicktrack preffered Certifications • ASE Certifications preferred • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to drive customers and shop vehicles as needed.
