There are many fascinating people buried in the Sparta City Cemetery. This tour offers a few examples of the stories that add to the history of the community, as well as the country. Some were wealthy and educated, some were just starting their lives. Some were strangers to the community and some were 3rd or 4th generation landowners. The thirteen represented in this tour all make up a wonderful tapestry of history.
