The KCA Emerging Leaders committee will supply all the tools, safety equipment, and refreshments for volunteers to help with overgrowth removal around the property. Schedule: Morning Shift: 8:00AM - 11:30AMLunch (provided): 11:30AM - 12:30PMAfternoon Shift:12:30PM - 4:00PMPlease dress accordingly for the weather as this volunteer project is outdoors. "The Bridge is a 'for-purpose' real estate development company that acquires old properties like schools, malls, and warehouses, then turns them into "eco villages" in the inner city. The properties are intended to be totally sustainable and self-contained mixed-use “Eco-Villages” with housing, commercial/retail space, co-working, urban agriculture, innovation/education center and entertainment. As such, The Bridge is a “world-class” model for other communities." Empower at the Bridge Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide specialized opportunities and improved quality of life for underprivileged and underserved individuals and families suffering from systematic oppression.
