Maintenance/handyman needed for apartment buildings

Handyman/ Maintenance position available Full time position available, Monday through Friday, for maintenance of apartment buildings in the Beverly Grove area (near La Cienega Blvd and 3rd St) in Los Angeles. Looking for a handyman/ maintenance person with experience in plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, patching and painting, groundskeeping, installing appliances (dishwasher, stove, microwave, AC) troubleshooting issues and coming up with solutions. Experience in floor and tile installation is highly preferred. Skills: Apartment remodeling and vacant unit turnovers Basic repair and installation tasks Door and window installation and repairs Crown molding, chair, base molding, shelving, and trim Electrical fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, ballast replacement and troubleshooting Faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut off valves, drains, leaks and troubleshooting Lighting installation and trouble-shooting Drywall repair and installation Tile and flooring installation Needs to have a good positive attitude, clean and professional appearance, respectful towards others, dependable and good references. Needs to be able to communicate effectively with management and tenants. Needs to have a vehicle and tools. Pay starts at $20 and is based on experience. Position available to be filled immediately.
