Hi there! I’m looking for a perfect new home for my Great Dane, Margot. I will be moving to New York later this year and am posting this ad early in hopes we can find the best home possible for her. She just turned two years old and is a very sweet, gentle giant. Margot knows simple commands like sit, lay down, and wait. She will do almost anything for a treat! She goes to dog daycamp a couple times a week and is very social when at camp. Occasionally, on a leash, she can be reactive to dogs walking by and will bark at them. She gets along great with my sisters dog as well and is gentle and kind around her small children. Margot has never been around cats. Margot enjoys sleeping under the covers, her stuffed animal dog toys, and resting her head on the edge of the couch. She needs about one walk a day and generally prefers to be a couch potato. Preference for rehoming will be given to previous Great Dane owners or to dog trainers. She can be a little skittish at times around loud noises and has some quirks, like not wanting to get into the car. There is no rehoming fee for the perfect fit. Margot will come with ample dog toys, a dog bed, optional dog crate, dog food, and several leashes. Must have a meet and greet before adopting.
