Band looking for the right person to continue the adventure. Middle age, “seasoned” players not trying to figure out what people want to hear. This band is about learning tunes and occasionally doing gigs.. so, this is not a money situation. What you do get is an opportunity to always have something (a tunes, a groove, a melodic line) slightly out of grasp that keeps you motivated to put it all together and hopefully make it swing. Mistakes are ok… playing it safe.. not so much. Would you like a chance to improvise, get weird, get loud, get kinda quiet? This is not a classic rock situation. Not for beginners Ideal person is bad ass player.. jazz background a plus.. post kids situation looking for a challenge and creative satisfaction. Think downtown New York meets New Orleans meets The Band meets 60’s soul jazz meets King Crimson.
