Description
Hello I'm a property owner and manage 8 rental units in the Aston PA area. Looking for a maintenance person to help with property upkeep: [ ] Landscaping help - I do have a regular landscaper for routine grass cutting but sometime I have to do extra stuff like when a tree limb falls or trimming hedges. [ ] Blowing and racking up leaves [ ] String trimming [ ] Lawn aeration and overseeding [ ] Occasional snow removal and cleanup [ ] Power washing [ ] Painting [ ] Help get units ready for rental flips - clean units + paint + clean carpets [ ] Oil furnace and boiler maintenance [ ] Make runs to suppliers and Home Depot to get materials for jobs [ ] Small masonry jobs such as some brick pointing or touch up stucco [ ] Small plumbing jobs such as replace toliet or faulcet [ ] Small electrical jobs such as replace a light fixture [ ] Carpentry jobs such as replace a door or a kitchen counter top. You don't necessarily need in-depth plumbing+electrical+carpentry mechanical skills for you could just be a helper. But any mechanical skills will be huge. Should be okay working on ladders - sometimes I do need to go up on the roof to make minor repair and fix rain gutters. Must have your own reliable vehicle to get back and forth to my job sites. The ideal person I'm looking for should have and maintain a steady full-time job (or be retired) and wants some part-time side work to augment their income. Can easily earn between $8K to $10K per year with this part-time job. I usually work on the rental properties on Saturday's and once you get to know all my properties you could work any day + any hours that fits into your schedule - I maintain a lengthy punch list for all the properties. Never a lack of things to do! This is a good opportunity to learn new trades- I'm very well versed in most phases of construction. I come from a family of 3 generations of plumbers and I have built several homes from the ground up! $22/hour for general labor and if you have mechanical skills and you own a lot of tools we can talk about your rate. Note: The last guy that worked this position did it for around 14 years and really enjoyed the flexibility. I often did not even see the guy - he just kept chipping away at my punch lists on his days off. Lastly I'm restoring a 1968 Camaro and if you are into car restoration and have any automotive mechanical and/or autobody stills lets talk!
