Thanks for taking the time to read my post. First I'll tell you a little about Sundance Kid Aka Sunny for the people who don't like backstory, then why we are having to re-home him. Sunny is a sweet 4 year old purebred greyhound. He has his shots but is not fixed. He's house broken, and he's great with kids but a little fast to be around babies. We put up a small easily jumped baby gate and he respects it and won't come into a room he's not supposed to so I think hes pretty smart and sensitive to people and how they feel. He loves all dogs big or small and does really well with our cats. Though his big energy usually means it takes a while for other animals to warm up to him. You would think a greyhound would need lots and lots of walks, well if you're an avid walker this guy isn't for you. He's pretty lazy. The first quarter mile he acts all excited then you're towing a dog home. So if you have a nice cozy spot for him to lay and some pets then he's in paradise. The only bad with this guy I can think of is his ears get stupid dirty really fast but he likes getting them cleaned so its not too bad. If you made it this far thank you. To answer the first question you might have is there is no re-homing fee. We aren't trying to make money, this is our boy we want to make sure he goes to someone who wants to love him. If you have any other questions let us know. Now on to why. My dad died leaving my mom with his old dog. Since this is getting long ill try to sum up. His old dog has a problem with Sunny so I can't have them together. When Sunny was a puppy his dog actually cracked his skull and I had to take him to the emergency vet. Hes ok but it was really scary. His old dog also has seizures and my mom is housing my brothers dog who attacks him every time he has a seizure. She won't get rid of my brothers aggressive dog and is way too old to break up another dog fight, she lives alone and I want her safe so here we are. Thank you for your time.
