Drummer seeks jazz/funk/Afro/Latin group

I recently moved to the SW, and I don’t know anyone over here. Well, one really good guitarist, but he’s busy. Anyway I play drums, with a particular interest in soul-jazz, funk, Afrobeat, Latin bugalu/shingaling, burlesque, Tom Waits, and quirky hybrids. I’d like to start or join a group for regular (like weekly) sessions and eventually gigs. I can drive anywhere but for regular sessions I’ll probably stay within 20 minutes drive from West Slope. I’m in my 50s, and I’ve played a lot but I never really got into projects that took recording seriously, so I don’t have videos etc as a CV. I’ll try to put together a couple demos, but honestly I’m too busy (with other life/work) for marketing myself. Let’s talk and then jam to see if we click. I’m no expert but I could dig a klezmer or Balkan style group. I can also go heavy, maybe not death metal but certainly like Morphine, Bohren & der Club of Gore, Peter Brotzmann, or Bill Laswell.
