Black lab needs new home

My black lab Fin needs a new home. He’s 4, almost 5 years old. He’s been fixed, is house trained, but I kennel him if he’s gonna be inside and I’m gonna be gone all day. But he’s definitely an outside dog. I used to live on a big piece of property, roughly 100 acres, out by mt Spokane, but the area developed and my property taxes went way up. I couldn’t afford to stay so I moved. I now live in Cheney in a small house with a small yard. The move has been hardest on Fin. He has nowhere to run, nowhere to move around in anymore and despite how many walks I take him on, I can see he’s depressed. I love Fin, he’s your typical loyal, dumb lab, and I want him to be happy, and I don’t think he’s happy here. He’s a small lab, around 60lbs, doesn’t dig or jump fences. He’s terrible on a leash cuz I never needed one for him until he was about 4 and we moved. He loves the water and will swim all day if he’s able. He gets along fairly well with other dogs but is pretty territorial about his food dish at meal times; he was bullied as a puppy by my two older labs before they passed away. He’s free to a good home, but that home needs to be big and on a big piece of land where he can run himself ragged every day. I will be delivering Fin personally to whoever takes him and if you misrepresent the area he’ll have to live in in any way, I’ll just turn around and move on to the next person who’s interested. Do not get ahold of me if you live in an apartment, a house with a small yard or if you live in a van with a bunch of national park stickers on it or something like that. Texting is fine but after 2 texts, a 30 second phone call can easily accomplish what 3 hours of texting can accomplish.
