Start here… https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2nX9OJrCsHrgA7R3wcBXJh?si=26c83QVATPSUZLVp4-pVEQ This playlist is a rough idea. simple stripped back instrumentals that have groove and feel. Ok. You down? Here’s the idea: 3 piece instrumental groove band that plays coffee shops, brewery gigs, small outdoor functions etc. Biggest thing here is dynamics. We go quite to super quite. If you can not play quite this isn’t the gig for you. Even a cajon box could work really well in this setting. Also, minimalist kit is key. 3 or 4 piece kit (or even cajon if that’s your thing) If you can’t live without your crazy Neil Peart setup this isn’t the gig for you. For 2 reasons. Space in a lot of the venues is limited. And also the type of music we’re playing. If you can’t get it done with a small kit then it’s not the gig for you. The guitar player has a wrist nearly as loose as Cory Wong’s with the lite touch of a painter. His setup: guitar, cable, 5w tube amp. Bass player loves Jamerson and Matt Freeman. His Setup : a P with heavy flats, cable, ampeg flip top. Looking for tight, controlled playing where you pull the most amount of tone (not volume) out of your equipment. If this is you, and you vibe with playlist above then this could be the gig for you. Be in bentonville, centerton, Rodgers, Bella vista. We’re on the west side of bentonville.
