Bassist seeks instrumental surf band

OK, this is admittedly a shot in the dark, but here goes... Experienced bassist (ex Del Rods, Verbtones, et al) seeks instrumental surf band. I really prefer vibey atmospheric stylings (e.g., Blue Hawaiians, Aqua Velvets, Pollo Del Mar) to garage/punk/trashy stuff. But I'm open to any situation that plays this great music out reasonably often. No hobby bands, please. Pro gear, own trans, yada yada.
