Howdy. I'm a bassist (electric 4-string) and lyricist forming an all-original country band of enthusiasts. Goal: to write and record original country music and build a YouTube channel etc. I'm 52. I have a pile of completed lyrics--about twelve songs--and an ever-growing pile of guitar and piano riffs. You can bring your lyrics and riffs, too. The more the merrier. I'm looking for a guitarist and/or keyboardist to help write and compose (we all share credits equally) and a drummer and singer. Basically, everything, including supporting instruments such as violin, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, steel guitar etc. This is definitely a ground-up project. I'm a decent baritone but not quite lead material, but I am good with vocal melodies to get things going. I have a good place to rehearse. Let's meet every Saturday (or something) from Noon to six and see what happens. Or I'll try to come to you. I'd rather spend two months polishing one song and recording it than just playing covers in bars. You are expected to bring a basic level of professionalism and commitment to this project. Note.
