Diesel tank swap on a 2006 Sprinter

The fuel pump inside the Diesel tank of my 2006 Sprinter seems to be malfunctioning. Rather than dropping the tank and swapping out the fuel pump, I am thinking of swapping out the entire tank, which would be less work. If it is also overall cheaper, I'd go that route. In other words, if the fuel tank plus labor to swap it out is less than the fuel pump plus labor to swap it out, I'd do that. I'd like you to price both options out, procure the spare part from a junk yard and swap it out in my vehicle. The van drives because it is a dual fuel vehicle (vegetable oil), so I could drop it off with you or you could do the work in my driveway, in which case, I'd help you. I need the van back by next weekend. Thanks for helping!!
