This event increases awareness of the Opioid Epidemic in Wisconsin and provides Narcan Training. Keynote speaker: Kirstin Waite-Labott, founder of Wisconsin Peer Alliance for Nurses. Panel discussion including advocates, front line responders, and community experts. **This event is free and open to the public, however donations are welcome the day of the event to support WCTC Nursing club, which supports nursing students whose mission is to support future nurses/nursing students, develop leaders, and host programs such as this. *WCTC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
